산사의 여인 / 안행덕

 

산사의 아침 햇살 너무 맑아 

속세의 쌓이고 쌓인 검은 속 

탁 털어 말리고 싶다 

 

파란 하늘이 푸른 물인 양 

처마 끝 단청을 유영하던 

물고기 지느러미 한가롭게 흔들린다 

 

부처도 모르고 불자도 아니면서 

법당을 기웃거리는 속절없는 여인 

귓전에 수런거림이 두렵다 

 

저 혼자 흘러들어온 부질없는 욕심 

목탁 소리에 마음의 빗장을 열고 

누수가 되어 소리 없이 흘러가는데 

 

부처를 닮으려는 순한 마음 

눈물 마르기 전에 순해진 저 

처마 끝 물고기를 닮아야지 

 

A Woman at a Mountain Temple /AN HAENGDUK

 

The sunlight at the mountain temple is so clean that

I'd like to shake off and dry my dark heart 

spoiled by this mundane world

 

At the end of the colored eaves 

fish's fins sway leisurely

as if the sky is a blue sea

 

Not knowing Buddha, not a buddhist

she peeks around the temple in vain

worrying other's whispers

 

The trivial greed, which flowed into the heart,

is moved by the sound of a wooden gong, so it

opens the door to the mind and lets its avarice leak quietly

 

The pure heart tries to be a Buddha

Before its tears dry up, it had better resemble

the fish at the end of the eave.
